Breakfast morning | Michelberger Hotel

In the early week of July, I have returned back to Berlin for my Eu trip this year. Since last two years ago, I promised i will come back soon and hopefully could stay in the Michelberger hotel where I met some picture randomly and introduced by website about design boutique hotel. Thanks God! I m happy to tell you I did stayed there this time and also I had beautiful experiences hanging out there such as vibe place make me feel like HoMe. lovely staffs, friendly people, good service...

GORGEOUS classic breakfast | have meal in the lovely french style cafe or outside garden.

Honestly, I spend 3 hrs to enjoy my slow breakfast there with few cups of fresh coffee.

兩年前去了德國柏林，無機會去住Michelberger hotel﹣位於柏林圍牆附近，那時我希望有機會再回來的話，可以住係這間有趣味的精品酒店，雖然只有3星級但酒店人員夠Friendly又funny, 住客大多年青又有型，環境簡單平民化，酒店內每個角落的精心裝飾。我好開心今年有機會了，係7月頭回來柏林為了去Art Walk／音樂節及BBB展，時間緊湊的幾天住係Michelberger 啦！

第一天清涼早上，係法國風情的cafe內享受豐富的早餐。

Gorgeous Coffee Cup | Seletti

係7月頭去了個幾星期旅行，係法國南部的一間家品店，櫥窗擺設了不同的Irregular 的杯碟，而這個有金耳的咖啡杯吸引到我去仔細地欣賞它。原來這設計出自非常人氣的家品品牌，來自意大利的 Seletti 。

好喜歡它左右兩邊英式及中式的圖案及外型混搭一起，高低大小邊。好有玩味 So interesting!

喜歡泡咖啡的我，當然即時買下。好開心！

係網上雜誌到，我無意地睇到一個home case, 有點industrial 但又有home feel的Loft, 大愛！仲有見到架電單車泊入屋內，令我聯想到之前係柴灣工廈的電單車店，店主法國人又是將他的珍貴改裝電單車泊入工廈樓上店內，Display show off之如又可以防止比人偷，多好。

睇到他們的屋內所有角落係咪外國味好重呢？唔講唔知原來呢到係香港？WHAT？REALLY??

呢間屋屋住兩夫婦多年來遊走不同的國家，最後決定搬進去位於港島區的單位，

他們親力親為自己動手打造這間屋，其實不可說是屋，是他們的生活基地。

係文章裡面講到，原藉意大利設計師Irene Capriz為一名室內造型師 Interior Stylist, 而她的丈夫 Marcus Foley是建築師。就係他們曾經走進不同的國家，在世界各地搜尋各式各樣的特式擺設，新居的感覺滲有新舊歐陸情懷，隱約透露了屋主對藝術同埋文化的情意結。

一定係工廠大廈啦！高樓底空間大窗門又大，好多香港人夢寐以求的單位，所以現在的工廠大廈可謂比較流行的選擇。好多外國人就是睇中這些好處，進駐搬入工廈。

Wooden Textiles | Elisa Strozyk

嘩！這個設計師勁啊！來自Berlin的 Elisa Strozyk，讀紡織設計出身的她，既是 Textile design 亦是 Artist。短短幾年已經攞左幾個獎，仲參與過好多不同的展覽展出作品。

好欣賞這個concept::

"“木製紡織品”是一種材料，它半木半紡織品，硬和軟之間，具有挑戰性, 這可以做到預計到的材料或類別。它的外觀和氣味很熟悉，但覺得很奇怪，因為它是能夠移動，並以意想不到的方式形成。變換成一個靈活的木製表面的木材的處理，其解構成片，然後將其連接到一個紡織面上。根據不同的幾何形狀和尺寸的木片上，每個設計的靈活性和移動性方面顯示出不同的行為。有各種可能的應用，例如地板，窗簾，窗簾，毯子，室內裝潢或家具部分。"

我會聯想係Issey Miyake 的超流行的 Bao Bao 手袋，Elisa Strozyk 則利用木才成片設計不同Pattern應用於家品上，好新鮮感！

的確係好有藝術味有美感又有用途的產品，真係可例於“Future Textiles"啊！LIKE!
